Graphic Designer - Finnmark Sauna
Full-time · Office-based · Spennymoor, County Durham
£30,000 - £33,000 (depending on experience)
About the role
Finnmark is growing, and design is central to how we grow. We're looking for a multi-disciplinary Graphic Designer who pairs a genuine eye for premium, luxury design with real fluency in AI image-generation tools.
This is a hands-on, high-output role. You'll produce the assets that are our brand: emails, web banners, brochures, print, signage, day in, day out, to a consistently high standard. You'll also work on headline campaign pieces at short notice, and design graphics and overlays for video in close collaboration with our videographer/photographer.
The scarce ingredient we're really after: you're AI-native. You can work confidently inside leading AI image-generation tools to produce on-brief, luxury-standard assets, generating, editing, and batch-producing at a speed traditional workflows can't match. For much of this role, that fluency is the craft.
If you take pride in shipping a large volume of beautifully executed work, not just directing it, and you're excited by what AI tools now make possible, this is for you.
What you'll do
The work spans three streams:
High-volume production (the bulk of the week)
- Editing and retouching product and campaign imagery for the website and social/advertising platforms (Google, Meta, Pinterest etc.)
- Designing marketing emails at volume
- Producing web banners and digital display assets
- Ongoing artworking and asset resizing across formats
Creative projects
- Designing brochures and printed literature
- Signage, in-store graphics, and environmental design
- Uniform and branded collateral design
- Supporting and evolving brand identity across touchpoints
- Front-end web design and prototyping
- Designing overlay graphics, title cards, and on-screen visual elements
- Handing off finished design assets for our videographer to animate and composite
- Ensuring a cohesive visual language across still and motion
What we're looking for
Essential
- A credible, multi-disciplinary portfolio spanning brand/identity, digital marketing assets, print, and web
- Demonstrable feel for luxury and premium design: you know what "premium" looks like and can execute to that standard consistently, especially at volume
- Strong, confident command of the core toolset: Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and leading AI image-generation tools
- AI-native working: comfortable and current with leading image-generation models, and able to generate, edit, and bulk-produce assets to a precise creative brief, including working solely within AI tools when the task calls for it
- Genuine willingness to take on large, repeat production tasks (image editing, artworking, resizing) alongside more creative work, and pride in doing that work well
- Ability to turn around high-priority campaign assets at short notice without dropping quality
- Strong, self-directed grasp of current design trends
- Clear communicator who collaborates fluidly with a videographer and the wider marketing team
Desirable
- Background designing for a premium or luxury brand
- Experience designing graphics intended for video/motion handoff
- Familiarity with front-end prototyping tools
How to apply
Please apply via Indeed and send a link to your portfolio (essential) alongside a short cover letter covering two things:
- An example of high-volume production work you've delivered, and how you kept it consistent and on-brand at scale.
- How you currently use AI image-generation tools in your workflow, with examples of AI-generated or AI-edited work in your portfolio clearly flagged.
We review portfolios first. A strong, relevant body of work matters more to us than a polished cover letter.
