About the Role
We are looking for a Viewings Clerk to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills. Experience in hospitality, retail, customer service or a similar customer-facing role would provide useful transferable skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct property viewings with prospective tenants.
- Provide detailed viewing feedback to negotiators to assist with follow-up activity.
- Explain tenants’ legal obligations under a tenancy agreement.
- Inform prospective tenants of the requirements for referencing, Right to Rent and identity checks.
- Explain the moving-in process, including Chelton Brown’s utility switching service and the benefits of available broadband and media packages.
- Advise tenants on the importance of obtaining contents insurance.
- Gather information from applicants and recommend alternative properties where appropriate.
- Provide general office support and administrative cover when not attending viewings.
Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
