Company Overview

ACS Aviation Industries is a 145 repair station specialising in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of Boeing and Airbus structural components. Located in a purpose-built facility in Braintree, we are committed to delivering reliable, high-quality solutions with exceptional customer service at the core of our operations.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Paint/Prep Technician to join our team.

This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out preparation work in accordance with the Approved Technical Data and / or the instructions of supervisors.
Perform surface preparations including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
Apply coatings in accordance with the Manufacturers Instruction Sheets.
Conduct inspections to verify surface quality and adherence to specifications.
Ensure a good standard cleanliness is maintained in and around the booths , mix rooms & paint storage areas.
Operate hand tools safely and effectively.
Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to component handling.
Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations during operations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a paint or prep technician in an aviation or automotive environment.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Relevant certifications or training in aircraft surface preparation or painting is preferred.

Pay: £30,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
