Full job description

THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and organised Legal Assistant to support our Head of Dispute resolution . This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their legal career within a well-established and supportive law firm.

Working closely with the Head of Department, you will play a key non fee earning role in ensuring the smooth running of a busy caseload, providing administrative and client support across a range of dispute resolution matters. You will also assist with new client enquiries and have regular contact with clients, counsel, courts and other professionals.

The expanding department will provide an excellent environment in which to learn, develop and gain valuable practical experience.

Excellent people skills are required.

REQUIREMENTS

It is preferable that you have worked within a law firm previously and have experience within some form of litigation/dispute resolution.
It is essential that you are confident with the use of IT
You will be a team player with the ability to work independently
Audio typing experience preferable

BENEFITS

£24,000 - £25,000 (Pro-rata) depending on experience
Working with a full service law firm
Quality training

Job Types: Full-time (5 days per week - 09:00 - 17:00). Office based

Immediate start.
