Full job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Assistant Structural Engineer to join our team in Launceston. The ideal candidate will assist in the design and implementation of structural engineering projects, working closely with senior engineers to develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and build structures using Tedds and other software tools.
- Assist in design and analysis for various construction projects.
- Utilise CAD software such as AutoCAD, to create detailed drawings and plans.
- Conduct site visits to assess structural integrity and provide on-site support as needed.

Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Structural / Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD,
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in a similar role or internship is advantageous.
