General Manager – Coastal Hotel

Are you a dynamic hospitality professional looking for an exciting leadership role on the stunning Great Yarmouth coast? We are seeking a passionate and commercially driven General Manager to take the helm of our charming 26-room hotel with 3 apartments , complete with bar & function suite boasting breathtaking sea views.

About Us:
We are a small, independent hospitality company dedicated to providing exceptional experiences to our guests. Our hotel is a destination for both locals and visitors, offering stylish accommodation and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

The Role:
As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the hotel, ensuring seamless operations, exceptional customer service, and financial performance. You will lead and inspire a dedicated team, driving sales, managing costs, and achieving key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and local partnerships.
Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
Lead, develop, and motivate a passionate team, fostering a positive work culture.
Maintain high standards across all departments, including accommodation, beverage, and guest services.
Work closely with the bar team to maintain a high-quality experience.
Implement and monitor operational processes to improve efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and employment regulations.

About You:

Proven experience in hotel or hospitality management, ideally in an independent property.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive sales and manage costs effectively.
Financially literate with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Inspirational leader and team player, capable of motivating staff and fostering a positive culture.
Passionate about hospitality, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on guest satisfaction.
Hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Must have the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
