We are Specialist Wood Machinists and Timber Importers in Lancashire with a fantastic name in the market. We are a strong family run business established for over 40 years. We sell sawn & machined timber products to the timber trade in hardwood, softwood and sheet materials.
We are pleased to be in a position to offer this excellent opportunity to be trained in a busy Timber Mill.
Role
Involvement a range of duties which include –
- Backing off machines
- Manual Handling
- Quality Control
- Safe working practices
- General house keeping
- Potential Machinist training
All on a basic level to progress with experience.
Candidate
We are looking for someone who is –
- Confident in English and Maths at GCSE level or equal
- Punctual
- Show initiative
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn
- Someone not afraid to go the extra mile when required
- Applicants must be 18 years or older due to insurance requirements
Details
Hours - 7.30am till 4.30pm, Monday to Friday plus seasonal overtime
Annual Leave - 30 days accrued holiday to include bank holidays and christmas shutdown
