The Collective is seeking a full-time technical designer to join its studio in Shoreditch, London. This is a great opportunity for a motivated BIM professional looking to step into a production & coordination role, to bridge the gap between design concepts/products and manufacturing/construction delivery by leading the implementation and use of Revit in the business.
The successful candidate will be expected to support the design team with project deliverables – primarily producing technical documentation and leading the implementation and coordination of Revit within the business. This will require excellent communication skills, time management and effective collaboration with the team.

Core Responsibilities
Technical Designer
· Lead the implementation and day-to-day use of Revit within the business to streamline and automate production workflows, including the production and use of parametric families to output 2D/3D drawings, BOMs and pricing.
· Produce, update, and manage accurate 3D Revit models and 2D technical drawings for acoustic products based on client specifications, site surveys, and project revisions for client approval, manufacturing, and installation.
· Interpret architectural drawings to identify product quantities and locations within interior spaces.
· Provide technical guidance and support to the design team regarding software troubleshooting, BIM standards, and workflow improvements.
· Maintain file management, ownership, and version control to ensure project deadlines and deliverables are met.
· Provide occasional support to the creative team with R&D tasks relating to bespoke product development and communication content.
Required Skills & Experience
· Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a technical designer, CAD/BIM technician or similar drafting role.
· Strong proficiency in Revit & AutoCAD is essential.
· Ability to read and understand interior construction drawings and elevations.
· Attention to detail and high level of accuracy with technical drawings.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
· Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Degree or equivalent qualification related to design, architecture, interior design, or drafting preferred.
· Experience with acoustic products, architectural interiors, or bespoke manufacturing is advantageous.

· Salary: £35-45k for mid-level (2-4 years’ experience) or £45-55k for advanced level (5+years’ experience)
