The Hampton by Hilton Humberside Airport has 100 bright modern bedrooms, situated right off the A18 just a short walk from Humberside International Airport. We're just 15 minutes from the sprawling Lincolnshire Wolds and Humber Bridge giving access to East Yorkshire.

We are a friendly, helpful, and warm team looking to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is a spacious lounge area perfect for relaxing after a busy day located on the ground floor alongside a bar serving hot and cold beverages and snacks. In addition, you can order a tasty meal off our lounge menu. Or if you are looking for a more formal dinner than the lounge, our casual Touchdown Bar & Grill restaurant onsite serves a range of classic dishes. There is also an onsite gym for our overnight guests available and a business centre where you can focus on your work.

You'll play a crucial role in maintaining a pristine kitchen, supporting the culinary team in delivering outstanding food experiences. Day in the life of:

As a Kitchen Porter you are a key performer who is at the heart of the operation, ensuring our culinary teams have the tools required to deliver excellent food service, our diners know and love. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen – supporting the team through the cleaning of kitchen areas, all equipment and work surfaces, with a particular emphasis on the pot wash area.

Example key responsibilities:

The unpacking and sorting of Kitchen deliveries
Stock rotation
Use of dishwasher facilities for kitchen crockery
Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen to meet hygiene standards and adhere to all aspects of licensing law, trading standards, food hygiene and health & safety
Liaising with kitchen team on daily basis and supporting where needed
Monitoring cleanliness of the kitchen areas as well as refrigerators and freezers
