Do you enjoy being out and about, helping people feel safe, welcome and informed in a busy coastal environment?
Are you calm, approachable and confident enough to handle everything from lost children to changing tides and visitor enquiries?
Would you like a role where your visible presence genuinely makes a difference to people’s safety and experience every single day?
What will your day look like?
As a Resort Safety Officer, you’ll be the friendly, visible presence that helps keep Cleethorpes safe, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.

- Offering advice and information to visitors and residents on safe use of the beach, tides, local restrictions and environmental protection
- Monitoring the resort through patrols and CCTV, responding to emerging risks such as weather, tides or crowd levels
- Operating the First Aid Post and administering first aid when required, including responding to incidents involving children and vulnerable adults
- Working closely with partners such as the RNLI, HM Coastguard and internal council teams to support public safety
- Helping lost children, supporting visitors and assisting during incidents or emergencies
- Protecting Cleethorpes’ natural environment, including the SSSI, by observing and reporting environmental concerns
- Reporting anti‑social behaviour, safety hazards, maintenance issues or unauthorised trading activity to the appropriate teams
No two days are the same – it’s an active, people‑focused role where what you do really matters.
