About the role: Group Media Developer
Activate Learning are recruiting for a group media developer to join our Digital Education Services team. The Multimedia Developer will be responsibility for developing high quality, digital learning assets using a variety of multimedia content generation tools to enhance our learners’ experience and engagement with online learning.
This is a permanent, full-time role based at our Guildford College campus with opportunities of working from home and may require travel to other sites.
What do you need to be successful as a Group Media Developer at Activate Learning?
We are expanding our development of Virtual and Augmented Reality assets to provide digital enrichment for hard to attain theoretical content. You will be responsible for researching and developing mixed reality technologies by working closely with curriculum colleagues to enhance the learner experience.
The successful multimedia developer candidate will have an awareness of online learning and how curated digital assets can positively impact learner journeys, experience designing and developing engaging, interactive digital assets for delivery via a learning management system is an essential requirement.
As part of the Digital Education Services team, you must be an excellent communicator with a creative mindset and passion for creating outstanding learning experiences with impressive results. We are looking for a high degree of customer service experience and professionalism to underpin the relationship with key stakeholders within the organisation.
About you:

Excellent Knowledge of using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)

Animation creation skill

Knowledge of VLEs (Virtual Learning Environment) and other digital education resources

Solid industry experience with Graphics/Video/Audio work (working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud)

Ability to write concise documentation - business and project-related

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and operate at all levels
