We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Treasury Assistant to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build or develop a career in treasury within a dynamic and supportive environment.
As a key member of the Treasury function, you will support day-to-day operations, ensuring accurate cash management, effective banking processes, and strong financial controls across the organisation.

Monitor daily cash positions and assist with short-term cash flow forecasting

Prepare and reconcile bank statements, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies

Support the processing of payments, including supplier payments, payroll, and intercompany transfers

Maintain banking documentation and assist with the opening, closing, and management of bank accounts

Assist in managing company credit cards, expense claims, and treasury-related records

Prepare treasury reports for senior management, including cash movements, balances, and variance analysis

Support compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements

Liaise with internal teams and external banking partners as required

Contribute to continuous improvements within treasury processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Experience in a finance or treasury-related role is preferred (or a strong interest in treasury operations)

Strong numerical accuracy with excellent attention to detail

Good understanding of basic accounting principles

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable handling financial data

Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines

Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships

A proactive, analytical mindset with a willingness to learn and develop

Progress towards, or interest in, professional qualifications such as AAT or ACT (Association of Corporate Treasurers) is advantageous
