Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess the necessary skills to maintain and enhance various landscapes. This role involves a combination of physical labour, technical knowledge, and creativity to ensure that gardens and grounds are aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

Irrigate gardens and landscapes effectively to promote healthy plant growth.
Build and construct landscape features such as patios, pathways, and flower beds.
Dig and prepare soil for planting, ensuring proper conditions for plant health.
Maintain equipment by using power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify issues or areas needing attention.
Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping projects in a timely manner.
Provide groundskeeping services to ensure all outdoor areas are clean and presentable.

Qualifications

Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge to operate various landscaping equipment effectively.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
Familiarity with gardening techniques and plant care is advantageous.
Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads as required.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
A valid driving licence is beneficial for transporting equipment between job sites.
