A new opportunity has arisen at Marquess Dental for a full or part time dental nurse who will also fulfil some reception duties. We are looking for a friendly, approachable, enthusiastic candidate with excellent communication skills to join our hard-working friendly team. The practice is well established, independently owned and has a warm, welcoming and caring atmosphere. We always endeavour to ensure that we maintain the highest standard of patient care. Treatments include orthodontics, dental implants, and a variety of cosmetic options.

Essential requirements (for qualified dental nurses)
· NEBDN Qualification or Equivalent
· GDC Registration
· Up to Date CPD
Although a qualified nurse would be preferable, consideration would also be given to a trainee nurse.
Nursing roles include providing clinical chair-side support to dentists, providing excellent patient care, following and ensuring compliance of all work with practice policies and HIW requirements, and such other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice
Reception roles include answering the telephone, dealing with patient enquires via email, booking appointments, taking payments, monitoring referrals, mailing, maintaining day appointment lists and many other things.
Welsh speaking is favourable as the majority of the local population speak Welsh as their first language.
Subject to DBS and other required pre-employment checks
The usual working hours will be Monday – Thursday 8:15am to 5:15pm and Friday 8.15am – 4.45pm.
