Full job description

Are you a Receptionist or Administrator looking for a new challenge? Or someone who is fancying a change of path into a new and rewarding role? We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and organised Veterinary Receptionist to join our existing fantastic Team at Rosevean Veterinary Practice, Penzance.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our Clients and their Pets, Horses and Farm Animals. You will be responsible for managing the front desk, answering the phone, scheduling appointments, medication requests and providing high level customer service in a range of other areas. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records amongst other administrative and office based tasks that keep the Practice running smoothly behind the scenes.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as a friendly and professional demeanor who has a committed attitude to work. There is a heavy administrative element to this role, so IT skills are desirable, but full training on our systems will be given.

This is a full time role of 40hours per week.

There is a requirement to work the odd Saturday morning on a pre-set Rota basis.

Previous experience in a Veterinary receptionist role is preferred, but not required.
