An opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Team Member to join the Charlotte House Hotel and Stokes Team. The beautiful Art Deco hotel is a versatile, inviting space that also runs weddings, conferences and events.
The successful candidate will be working as part of a supportive, friendly team. You will have a varied role, servicing the fourteen bedroom boutique hotel, as well as supporting preparation for a variety of events and cleaning for some of our cafe spaces. In this role, you will be at the heart of giving our guests a great first impression.
This is a part-time role with flexibility needed across the week, including weekends. Strong relevant experience is essential, as is a positive work ethos.
What You’ll Need to Offer
- Experience in housekeeping or cleaning is highly desirable
- Experience of delivering high standards of face-to-face customer service
- Friendly, professional manner
- Strong team player
- Ability to communicate effectively
- A keen eye for detail
- Flexibility in timetable (weekend working is required)
- Ability to lift and move furniture and other heavy equipment
What You’ll Be Doing
Our Customers and Teams are at the heart of everything we do. You will:
- Clean hotel bedrooms with pride to the high standards set
- Take pride in the cleanliness and appearance of guest bedrooms and public areas
- Making beds, hoovering, cleaning and replacing room amenities
- Proactively review and feedback functionality issues within rooms
- Use products / equipment as per health and safety training
- Be respectful to all guests and assist with their requests when required
- Assist your teammates in completing their tasks to ensure our guest expectations are exceeded
- Support room set up and changeovers for events
- Clean café spaces (floors, toilets)
