Bakery and Packing Assistant – Night Shifts
Location: Mamoosh Bakery
Job Type: Temporary (with potential for permanent position)
Schedule Three nights a week, with occasional extra shifts, does include Fridays and occasional weekend working
We at Mamoosh Bakery are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Bakery and Packing Assistant to join our team over the busy summer months, with the opportunity for a permanent full-time position, with an opportunity for formal qualifications.
Shifts & Pay
Night Shift:
- Hours: 4pm-11pm / 6pm - 12am
- Rate: £10.85-£13/hour + holiday pay
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of ingredients and baking processes
- Support bakers during production
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with the team to meet production and delivery deadlines
- Run an efficient packing section
- Maintain cleaning schedules for the bakery
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in a bakery or catering environment is preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- An excellent understanding of written and spoken English is essential for this role
