Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaners to join our team in Heathfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and visitors. Previous experience in janitorial or hotel cleaning is advantageous, but full training will be provided. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a professional cleaning service committed to excellence.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
Clean and sanitise toilets, washbasins, and other sanitary fittings to high standards
Maintain cleanliness of communal areas such as corridors, reception areas, and kitchens
Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as needed
Handle specialised cleaning tasks in line with client requirements, including carpet cleaning or window washing when necessary
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with organising cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues promptly

Skills

Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is desirable
Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Basic cooking skills are considered an advantage for roles involving kitchen maintenance
Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients and visitors
