Yardman (Telehandler) - Portishead
MadiganGill are currently recruiting for an experienced Yardman to join a long-term project in Portishead. This is an excellent opportunity to secure 12 months of work with an immediate start.
Location: Portishead
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: £22.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30am - 5:30pm
- Operating the telehandler safely and efficiently around site.
- Managing and organising the site yard, ensuring it remains clean, tidy, and safe.
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials to designated areas.
- Assisting with deliveries and checking materials as they arrive on site.
- Supporting trades by distributing materials as required.
- Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting any faults or defects.
- Following all site health and safety procedures at all times.
- Undertaking general yard duties and assisting the site team where required.
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket.
- Previous experience working in a Yardman or Telehandler role on construction sites.
- Full PPE, including high-visibility clothing.
- A strong understanding of site health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
