Call Centre Agent – Hull, HU1 3HA
Start date: 7 September 2026
Salary: From £26,500.76 (40 hrs/week), rising with experience
Bonus: Monthly bonus scheme, around £2,000 extra per year
Hours: Choice of 35, 37.5 or 40 hour contracts
Shifts: Rotational Mon–Fri 8am–8pm and Sat 9am–5pm (2 in 4 Saturdays, with a weekday off in lieu)
Location: Hull city centre, a short walk from Hull Interchange. Hybrid working available once competent and confident in you role
Holiday: 31 days (pro rata), including bank holidays
About the role

If so, we would love to hear from you! Join our TSB team as a Call Centre Agent, supporting customers on their journey back to financial wellbeing. You'll be the first point of contact for people who need empathy, patience, and practical help.
What you'll do
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, spotting patterns and identifying potentially vulnerable customers
- Use active listening and effective questioning to guide customers toward the right outcome
- Deliver difficult news with care and professionalism
- Accurately record interactions across multiple systems, keeping data compliant with regulatory standards
- Share insights with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment

- Good attention to detail when working across multiple systems
Training
4-week paid training programme with a dedicated L&D Trainer, based at our Hull office (Mon–Fri, 8.30am–4pm). You'll learn about vulnerability and support needs, regulation, our systems, and effective questioning techniques.
