Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As the Executive Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and innovate menu offerings to delight our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a professional eager to contribute to a prestigious hospitality establishment.

Duties

Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, including sous chefs, chefs de partie, and kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated environment
Oversee food production processes, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met
Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences while maintaining operational feasibility
Manage food preparation and cooking activities to ensure timely delivery of dishes without compromising quality
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently
Train staff on culinary techniques, safety procedures, and service standards
Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
Implement cost control measures to optimise profitability without sacrificing quality

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food production and preparation
Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate diverse staff members
Solid knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality settings with a focus on cooking and food service
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to organise, delegate, and oversee multiple tasks effectively
Strong understanding of kitchen operations, including inventory management and cost control strategies
Exceptional communication skills with a customer-focused approach to service excellence
