Are you ready to lead the oversight of vital care services, drive quality across the sector, and make a lasting difference to the lives of people who rely on Adult Social Care and Health support every day?
If you're someone who thrives on building strong partnerships, leading teams, and influencing positive change, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You'll be confident managing complex situations, analysing information to make sound decisions, and working collaboratively with providers and stakeholders to improve services and deliver value for money.
What's the role all about?
As Contracts Manager, you'll lead the oversight and management of all Adult Social Care and Health contracts commissioned by North East Lincolnshire Council under the section 75 arrangement. Providing expert advice on contract and provider management, you'll ensure services meet contractual requirements, achieve agreed outcomes, comply with legislation and quality standards, and continue to deliver safe and effective support for local service users and carers.
What will your day look like?
No two days are the same. You could be chairing provider oversight meetings, conducting quality monitoring visits, analysing performance and safeguarding information, managing risks to provider sustainability, or leading on improvement plans where concerns have been identified. You'll work closely with colleagues across Adult Social Care, Finance, Legal, and Commissioning teams while supporting procurement activity, contract lifecycle management, and the development of a strong and resilient local care market.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for an experienced contract management professional with a strong understanding of Adult Social Care, Health services, and public sector contracting. You'll bring experience of managing strategic contracts, leading teams, and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders. You'll be an excellent communicator with strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills, capable of managing difficult conversations and driving continuous improvement in complex environments.
Why join us?
This is an opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of people across North East Lincolnshire while leading a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality care services. Working within a supportive and values-driven organisation, you'll benefit from flexible hybrid working, ongoing professional development opportunities, and the chance to influence strategic decisions that shape the future of health and adult social care provision in the area.
