Hours of work
37 hours per week, normally worked Monday to Friday. Flexible working will be considered.
Salary
Full time starting salary is normally in the range of £48,760 to £58,664 per annum, with potential progression up to £71,050 per annum
About You
We are seeking a candidate with a degree in engineering, physical science, or mathematics, and a PhD in a field closely related to fluid mechanics and aerospace propulsion. You will have subject matter expertise in aerothermodynamics, experience presenting technical concepts, supervising students, and publishing in peer-reviewed journals, alongside a developing research profile. A good working knowledge of ANSYS/Fluent or other CFD tools beyond undergraduate level is essential, together with strong communication, presentation, technical writing, and collaborative working skills.
