About J&J Detailing
J&J Detailing is one of the UK’s leading paint protection film studios. We specialise in protecting high-end, luxury, and performance cars using paint protection film, also known as PPF.
We work on cars such as Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Range Rover, BMW M cars, Mercedes-AMG, and many other premium vehicles.
We are a growing company with a modern studio, a strong reputation, and a very high standard of work. We care about quality, attention to detail, and giving customers a premium experience.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a full-time PPF Pattern & Print Technician to join our team.
The Role
This role is based around preparing PPF kits for cars before they go into the workshop.
You will use computer software to find the correct patterns for each vehicle, prepare the film layout, and print the PPF pieces ready for our installers.
Think of it like preparing a template for each part of the car. The installer then uses those printed pieces to fit the film onto the vehicle.
You do not need to be an experienced PPF installer to apply. We can train the right person. The most important things are that you are good with computers, organised, careful, and have strong attention to detail.
This role could suit someone with experience in vehicle graphics, sign-making, vinyl cutting, printing, CAD, design software, or automotive work.
What You’ll Be Doing
Using specialist software to find the correct PPF patterns for each car
Checking the vehicle model, year, and body shape before printing

What We’re Looking For
Someone who is confident using computers
Someone with excellent attention to detail
Someone organised and reliable
Someone who can work accurately and carefully
Someone who takes pride in doing things properly

An interest in cars would be helpful, but it is not essential
