Accounts Payable Supervisor

Wentworth Club is one of the world’s finest private members Golf and Country Clubs, famous for its outstanding three Championship golf courses, in addition to a luxury Tennis & Health Club. The Club is surrounded and entwined within the Wentworth Estate, one of the most prestigious private estates in the London suburbs where many of the world’s premier golfers have their home.

We're looking for an experienced Account Payable Supervisor to join our Finance team. To oversee and manage the Accounts Payable function, ensuring key stakeholders understand and follow the AP process, enabling the business to pay suppliers correctly and in a timely fashion.

Accounts Payable

Process regular BAC’s runs incorporating suppliers and oversee the freelancer payments.
Invoice filing, scanning and archiving.
Oversee monthly invoice accrual for the Management Accounts
Tracking Contract payments, prepaid invoices and Proforma invoices.
Administer Operating Capex forms/related documentation
Raise and ensure all PAF’s are approved in line with the current policy.
Manage incoming documentation and communicating effectively to resolve stakeholder queries.
Managing the AP inbox, distribution of invoices & matching invoices/delivery notes and statement reconciliation.
Ad- Hoc management requests

Management

Plan and organise daily tasks.
Induct new employees, identify training needs, manage AP on daily basis
Constantly review processes and procedures within accounts payable to improve efficiency through use of systems.
Oversee all daily operations of the AP including, invoice mailbox, invoice entering etc.

Personnel responsbilities

Able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders across the Club.
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Demonstrate great teamwork
Flexible and adaptable to the changing demands of the business.
Attention to detail and the ability to spot and correct errors
