Job description

We are looking for a Practice Manager who is also a Dispensing Optician or Experienced Optical Assistant to join the team in our Lydney Practice.

Following our relocation and full practice refit we are now looking to expand our team to help better serve the community of Lydney.

The practice is part of an Independent family-owned and family run group, who focus on customer care and great service as well as providing a great working environment for its team members.

This is an ideal position of an experienced individual with a strong commercial mindset.

35 minute testing times
Running specialist clinical services including; Myopia Management
No late nights as the practice closes at 5:00pm

Details and requirements

Opening hours: Monday - Friday (9am-5:00pm) & Saturday (9am-2pm)
Sundays & Bank Holidays closed
Full-Time position considered, 37.5 hours a week
Qualified Dispensing Optician / Experienced Optical Dispenser
Eligibility to work in the UK and GOC Registered if a DO position
Be able to drive as may need to cover holidays in other practices

Salary

Starting from £14.07 per hour for OA and £16 for DO, salary will be dependent on experience
5.6 weeks holiday (pro rata)

Core responsibilities

Managing the customer relationships, ensuring customer levels of satisfaction remain at their targeted level
Deliver business results by promoting strategies within branch to enhance performance
Carrying out Dispensing role
Practice managers position will include managing the day to day running of the practices, dealing with customer complaints, holding quarterly team reviews, monitoring sales and targets.

Job Type: Full-time
