Duties
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements with precision and efficiency
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment, then develop effective repair plans
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks to move engines, transmissions, or other heavy parts safely and correctly
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify potential problems before they escalate
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to team members or customers
- Follow safety protocols consistently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and socket sets
- Proficiency with power tools used in vehicle repair and maintenance tasks
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Prior experience in a vehicle repair or maintenance role is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is advantageous
