We have a great opportunity for an Apprentice Nursery Nurse within our setting. A job working with children is primarily fun, you will be helping children learn through play seeing them grow and develop. The role is based at our nursery that provides full daycare for children aged 2 months to school age. Working with children provides constant challenges, personally and professionally. You could be planning for the child’s next steps, a day trip or working with parents, the job will vary from day to day.
You will gain a NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification at the end.
The role includes:
- Working with our external training provider to obtain nationally recognised qualifications, including completing assignments on time
- To attend team meetings and contribute relevant ideas
- Under supervision to provide all aspects of care for children including changing and feeding
- To assist with meeting the personal and emotional needs of children
- Helping children progress through their next steps
- To provide adult interaction with children in the setting
- To be aware and abide by the settings policies
