Responsibilities: Here's what your journey with us entails:

Painting & decorating is the main focus of the role however, you will support the Engineering team, as required, with the following:-
Performing preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
Inspecting tools, equipment, and machines visually to ensure proper functioning.
Carrying and operating equipment such as tools and radios.
Carrying out daily checks on electrical and mechanical equipment
Carrying out daily checks in relation to fire and Health & Safety
Replacing and repairing fixtures and fittings
Monitoring hazards in all areas that you work and ensure maximum safety at all times
Ensuring records in relation to Health & Safety are up to date and available for audit
Ensuring all work practices adhere to company and statutory legislation with due diligence at all times
Ensuring all work is carried out to a consistently high standard
Following safety and security policies and report any maintenance problems or hazards.
Developing positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
Completing safety training and certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience (plumbing, electrical, carpentry or painting & decorating) - ideally within a hospitality environment

Supervisory Experience: None required.
