Summary
We are seeking a Nursery Administrator & Funding Coordinator to join our vibrant team in Leicestershire. Based at our outdoor nursery, this role is vital in managing administrative tasks and coordinating funding efforts to support our innovative educational approach. Your work will directly contribute to creating a nurturing environment where children can learn freely and confidently.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative operations of the nursery.
- Manage funding applications and coordinate financial support initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, funding, and compliance documentation.
- Support staff with administrative needs to ensure smooth daily activities.
- Liaise with parents, funding bodies, and external agencies.
- Assist in planning and organizing nursery activities related to funding and resource allocation.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and best practices in early childhood education.
- Promote the nursery’s ethos of outdoor learning and child-led exploration.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in nursery administration or early childhood education management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of funding processes and compliance for early years settings.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Passion for outdoor learning and child development.
- Experience with regulatory compliance in childcare settings.
- Preferred: Background in finance or funding coordination.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and external partners.
