Maidwell Hall is a distinguished co-educational boarding and day school that educates pupils from Reception to Year 8, we are currently looking for a Domestic Cleaner to join our dedicated team. Your role will involve maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

We are seeking an individual who is reliable, hardworking, and a proficient timekeeper. In this role, you will help create a homely environment for our pupils by ensuring the houses and central buildings are impeccably clean, serving meals, and managing laundry. Rest assured; full training will be provided to support your success in this role and you will be part of a great team.

The ideal candidate will possess:

Previous cleaning experience (desirable as full training will be given)
A good understanding of COSHH
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
The ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent time-keeping skills

Hours:

8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday

8.30am – 5.00pm Friday

8.30am – 12.30pm Saturday (16 Saturdays per term)

The post-holder’s responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom they are responsible, or with whom they come into contact, will be to adhere to and ensure compliance with the school’s safeguarding (child protection) policy at all times. If in the course of carrying out the duties of the post the post-holder becomes aware of any actual or potential risks to the safety or welfare of children in the school they must report any concerns to the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or to the Headmaster.
