We are a fast-growing e-commerce business selling across multiple online platforms including TikTok Shop, eBay, Shopify, Whatnot, Tilt and other marketplaces. We deal with a wide range of products including home, tech, lifestyle and general consumer goods.
We are looking for a reliable, organised and all-round Admin & Accounts Assistant to join our team and help manage the day-to-day operations of the business.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on role for someone who can take ownership of daily admin, order management, inventory, marketplace tasks and basic accounts support. The ideal candidate should be practical, detail-oriented, confident with computers and willing to learn different systems.
You do not need to be an expert in every area, but you must be organised, responsible and able to handle different tasks in a busy e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
Admin & Marketplace Support
- Manage day-to-day admin tasks across e-commerce platforms.
- Check and update orders, returns, refunds and customer queries.
- Assist with product listings, pricing updates and stock updates.
- Keep marketplace accounts organised and help maintain good account health.
- Support with TikTok Shop, eBay, Shopify and other selling platforms.
- Monitor pending orders, cancellations, shipping issues and customer service cases.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Help maintain accurate stock records.
- Update inventory across different platforms.
- Track incoming and outgoing stock.
- Help organise product information, SKUs and stock sheets.
- Coordinate with the team regarding low-stock or out-of-stock products.
Accounts & Finance Support
- Record sales, purchases, expenses and invoices.
- Help organise receipts, supplier invoices and payment records.
- Support basic bookkeeping and VAT-related record keeping.
- Prepare simple reports for sales, costs, profits and stock.
- Work with the business owner/accountant to keep accounts up to date.
General Business Support
- Maintain spreadsheets and business records.
- Help improve admin systems and daily processes.
- Communicate with suppliers, couriers and platforms when needed.
- Assist with order fulfilment admin and shipping paperwork.
- Support the team with general day-to-day business tasks.
Requirements
- Good computer skills and confident using spreadsheets.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Reliable, responsible and willing to learn.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce, admin or accounts is preferred.
- Experience with platforms like eBay, TikTok Shop, Shopify, Amazon, Xero, QuickBooks or Excel/Google Sheets is a bonus but not essential.
