Permanent Contract: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4.30pm (we can offer some flexibility)

The Role
We are looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive Junior Artworker to join our growing in-house Brand & Creative team. This role plays a key part in maintaining the visual quality and accuracy of product imagery across a portfolio of e-commerce brands. Working closely with the Creative, Buying, Production and Marketing teams, you will be responsible for photographing prod-ucts and fabrics, editing and preparing imagery for web use, managing digital asset libraries, and supporting the wider creative team with artwork and content requirements.
The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a passion for photography and image editing, and a commitment to main-training the highest standards of visual presentation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a balance of studio-based photography, Photoshop work, asset management and creative production support. Reporting directly to one of our Graphic Designers, you will work closely with the wider Brand & Creative team to ensure all visual assets are produced, managed and maintained to the highest standards across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Product Photography & Image Production
- Photograph fabrics, blinds, curtain poles, accessories and related products to company standards
- Prepare products for photography including cleaning, steaming, assembling and presentation
- Ensure all photography is colour-accurate, consistent and commercially effective
- Support occasional lifestyle photography, staff headshots, internal events and ad-hoc content creation
- Proactively suggest improvements to studio processes and photography standards
Image Editing & Retouching
- Process and optimise imagery using Adobe Photoshop
- Perform colour correction, retouching, cleaning and image enhancement
- Create seamless repeats and prepare imagery for digital use
- Batch process large volumes of imagery efficiently
- Maintain consistency across all image libraries and product categories
- Ensure all assets meet company quality standards before publication
Asset Management & Administration
- Upload and maintain imagery within company systems and websites
- Organise, categorise and manage digital asset libraries
- Maintain accurate file structures, naming conventions and version control
- Support image requests from internal departments
- Complete associated administrative tasks and record keeping
Team Support & Collaboration
- Liaise with Buying, Production, Marketing and Creative teams regarding product launches and priorities
- Provide support for ad-hoc artwork and creative requirements
- Keep stakeholders informed of progress and project status
- Assist in maintaining studio equipment and photography workspaces
- Support continuous improvement of workflows and creative processes
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in photography, artwork or image editing
- Strong Adobe Photoshop skills
- Experience using DSLR camera equipment
- Good understanding of image retouching and colour correction
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately under deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong file management and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Desirable Skills:
- Experience within e-commerce, retail or product photography environments
- Experience using Adobe Lightroom
- Basic Illustrator or InDesign knowledge
- Video editing experience
- Understanding of CMS or image management systems
- Interest in interior products, home furnishings or lifestyle brands
- Experience managing large image libraries
