Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 2&1 Bricklaying Gang to join our construction team. This role involves working collaboratively on masonry projects, specialising in bricklaying and related trades. The successful candidates will be responsible for executing high-quality brickwork efficiently and safely, contributing to the successful completion of various building projects. Prior experience in masonry and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential for this position.

Duties

Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units following technical drawings and specification
Use hand tools such as trowels, hammers, and chisels to shape and set bricks accurately
Operate power tools including mixers, drills, and cutting equipment to facilitate construction tasks
Assist with the installation of roofing components where required
Incorporate carpentry skills for framing or formwork as needed on site

Skills

Proficiency in bricklaying techniques with a solid understanding of masonry principles
Experience using hand tools and power tools relevant to bricklaying and construction work
Knowledge of roofing installation processes and materials is advantageous
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors
Good physical fitness with the capacity to handle heavy materials and perform manual labour over extended periods
Organised approach to work with attention to detail in following technical drawings and safety protocols

Pay: £200.00-£600.00 per day
