Full job description

We are looking for a qualified Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our Gas/Installation team, ideally based in Herefordshire. If you are a highly skilled, motivated and a customer focused engineer, qualified with ACS and level 3 plumbing or equivalent, with more than 2 years’ experience working in the installing area of the heating/plumbing industry, then we would like to hear from you!

Your main role will include:

Carrying out boiler replacement, Boiler conversions and Full central heating installations within our properties at Connexus, as part of an ongoing programme of works.
Installing Bathrooms with includes tiling and some minor carpentry work.
1st and 2nd fix plumbing of new kitchen installs

Additional to the main role, when required:

Installation and maintenance of Unvented Hot water system
Gas boiler servicing and repairs, diagnosing faults and repairing on different types of heating systems. Renewables servicing and repairs.
Completing general plumbing responsive repairs.
Surveying of upcoming installation works.

Required Qualifications:

Gas Safe qualifications – CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1
G3 Unvented
NVQ plumbing level 3 qualification

The successful candidate will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota, providing cover during evenings and weekends on a standby basis. A standby allowance is payable, along with an additional hourly payment for any call-outs attended, all of which is paid on top of the basic salary.

Working hours are 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
