Come and join our team at the destination Bale House Cafe, located in Hastings Country Park.

We are recruiting for a: Cafe Assistant

As a Café Assistant you will provide a welcoming front of house service, providing excellent customer service and quality food and beverages to local community and visitors to The Bale House Visitor Centre at Hastings Country Park known for its outstanding views, beauty and rare flora and fauna.

Job Purpose

We are looking to recruit a friendly and reliable casual Café Assistant to join our team at the Bale House, a small, but very busy destination café located within Hastings Country Park known for its outstanding views, beauty and rare flora and fauna.

You will provide a welcoming front of house service, providing excellent customer service and quality food and beverages to local community and visitors from around the country and world. In addition, to welcome visitors to the nature reserve you may be required to answer questions about the local area and support them in finding the information they need when visitor centre volunteers and staff are unavailable.

This role is zero hours and ideal for someone available during school holidays and weekends. Full training will be given but experience in food preparation, customer service and barista work is preferred.
