Impact Academies & Camps is a leading IT education provider for children aged 5–17. We are expanding and looking for energetic, reliable, and tech-savvy tutors to launch our new academy in Chigwell.
This role is ideal for candidates with tutoring or teaching experience — especially teachers or university students pursuing education or technology-related fields — who are passionate about making learning fun and accessible.

The Role
- Support: Assist the lead teacher in delivering engaging offline lessons in Coding & Robotics, using our approved curriculum.
- Assist Students: Provide one-to-one and small-group support, helping students understand tasks, debug code, and develop creative projects.
- Encourage: Help create a fun, positive, disciplined, and safe learning environment where every child feels supported.
- Manage: Assist with attendance, classroom organisation, equipment setup, homework checks, and recording student progress through our app (ALFA CRM).
- Prepare: Arrive 10 minutes before each class to help the teacher set up equipment, computers, and learning materials.

Requirements
- Technical Interest: Basic knowledge or practical experience with programming (Scratch, Python, Web Development) or Robotics (Arduino, LEGO) is preferred.
- Great with Children: Patient, friendly, and confident when supporting children aged 5–17.
- Reliability is Key: Punctuality is essential. You must arrive at least 10 minutes before class to help with setup.
- Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and patiently to young learners.
- Team Player: Comfortable working alongside a lead teacher and following lesson plans and instructions.
- Safety First: An Enhanced DBS check is mandatory. We can assist with the application.
- Admin Skills: Comfortable using digital systems/CRM platforms to record attendance, lesson notes, and student progress.
