Senior Business Development Representative (B2B)

Online Lubricants Ltd
Waltham Abbey, Essex (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote after training)
Full-time | Monday–Friday | 9:00am–5:00pm
Flexible and part-time working considered

Salary

£30,000 basic + uncapped commission
Year 1 OTE: £35,000+
Year 2 OTE: £45,000+

About Online Lubricants

Online Lubricants is a well-established national supplier of lubricants, hydraulic oils, AdBlue and industrial fluids. With 32 years of trading history, we supply businesses across construction, plant hire, transport, waste & recycling, manufacturing, power generation and engineering sectors.

We are now looking for an ambitious Senior Business Development Representative to help drive the next phase of growth by winning new B2B customers and developing long-term commercial relationships.

The Opportunity

You will own the full front end of the sales process — identifying opportunities, engaging decision makers, generating quotations and converting prospects into repeat trading accounts.

Our initial focus is on high-volume, repeat-purchase products that allow you to build a strong customer base quickly.

Successful candidates will have a clear progression route into Business Development Manager and Key Account Manager roles.

What You’ll Be Doing

Identifying and targeting new B2B customers across key industries.
Prospecting via telephone, email and LinkedIn.
Speaking directly with fleet managers, plant managers, workshop managers, procurement teams and business owners.
Understanding customers’ current lubricant purchasing arrangements and identifying opportunities to switch supply.
Preparing and following up quotations.
Building a pipeline of repeat-purchase accounts.
Reactivating dormant customers from our extensive customer database.
Maintaining accurate CRM records and managing your sales pipeline.
Working closely with our Key Account and Customer Service teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.

Consistent outbound prospecting activity.
Strong decision-maker engagement.
High quote follow-up discipline.
New account acquisition.
Gross profit growth from newly won customers.
Development of repeat monthly business.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

2+ years’ experience in B2B sales, business development or internal sales.
Confident communicator who enjoys speaking with customers.
Proven ability to generate opportunities through outbound activity.
Commercially aware and target-driven.
Highly organised with strong follow-up skills.
Comfortable using CRM systems and sales tools.
Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

Experience selling industrial, automotive, engineering or technical products.
Knowledge of lubricants, oils, fuels or related sectors.
Experience selling into construction, transport, waste & recycling, manufacturing or power generation industries.

£30,000 basic salary.
