Alliance Contracting Solutions Ltd. are looking to recruit a number of Civil Engineering site operatives of various levels to join their current work force, covering projects for a number of high profile clients on long term frameworks such as The Coal Authority, Water Authorities, The Forestry Commission and The Environment Agency, Housing developers, Universities and various large clients around the UK carrying out Civil Engineering and Groundworks projects.
The applicant must have good experience of all aspects of Construction and Groundworks including general excavations, drainage, kerbing, insitu concrete, steel fixing, fencing and all aspects of reinstatement including hand lay tarmacing.
You will be part of a 2 or 3 man gang responsible for carrying out jobs to a high standard within the allocated time frame at various locations throughout the UK.
The post may require you to be on call out of hours to respond to emergency work to make areas safe to members of the public
The Gangs report directly to the Project Manager and will be in direct contact with all clients on a day to day basis; an understanding of the importance of customer service is therefore essential. Due to the variety of the works the Gangs must be willing to travel as part of their duties and a company Vehicle will be provided for that purpose.
Qualifications:
- CSCS card Holder
- CPCS Excavator, Dumper, Roller
- Confined Spaces
- First Aid at Work
- Clean UK Driving Licence
- Willing to under go full security checks
- Sufficient/relevant long term trade/site experience
- NRSWA would be advantageous
