Clyde Valley Care Home

We are a 33 bed home situated in an old Stately House in the stunning country side. We specialise in care for Mental Health, Under 65s. We have very recently been nominated "Specialist Care Home of the Year" by the Scottish Care Awards, results will be announced in Nov 2024. We pride ourselves on encouraging a calm and homely environment and look forward to welcoming a new nurse into the Clyde Valley family.

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the best possible care in their homes or other care settings. The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic, and possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to each client's needs.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Assist with mobility and transfers.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
Ensure a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.

Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in care or home care settings, with specific skills in the following areas considered advantageous:

Care plans development
Patient care practices
Hospice care familiarity

Successful applicants will demonstrate a genuine passion for helping others and the ability to work independently while also being part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.45 per hour
