Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. We are looking for roofers, 1st and 2nd fixers. This role requires a strong understanding of carpentry and joinery, as well as experience with a range of tools and construction techniques. Duties
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to project specifications using hand tools and power tools
- Fabricate custom components and ensuring precise fit and finish
- Install cladding panels on building exteriors, ensuring alignment and secure fastening
- Assist with the preparation of surfaces, including minor masonry or roofing tasks as needed
- Perform general carpentry duties such as framing, joinery, and fitting to support cladding installation
- Conduct site inspections to ensure safety standards are maintained during installation processes
- Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing, electrical, or roofing teams to coordinate work effectively
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and installation of cladding systems or similar construction work
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised carpentry equipment
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, joinery, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical systems, and construction painting is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling and installation tasks
- Previous experience working on construction sites with exposure to various trades is preferred
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in measuring and fitting components accurately
- Physical fitness suitable for demanding manual labour in outdoor or indoor environments
- Relevant qualifications or training in carpentry or construction trades are desirable
