Our depot based at St Day, Redruth Cornwall is looking to recruit an experienced qualified HGV Mechanic who can work within ministry legislation to service, inspect and repair our growing fleet of light/heavy commercial vehicles.
There is also the opportunity to further your knowledge by undertaking additional training to enable you to service and repair our fleet of various powered access machines.
All candidates must:
- Hold a minimum of a category C licence
- Be suitably qualified
- Have the ability to work to the highest standards
- Have a flexible working attitude
- Be self-motivated and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Be capable of working within a team or on your own
You will be working in our workshop based at our United Downs Industrial Park depot in Redruth, which offers excellent working facilities.
We can offer the right candidate some flexibility on working hours. However, our normal working hours are 08:00 – 17:00hrs Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will be required to take a pre-employment drug test as part of the recruitment process.
This is a full-time permanent position with wages being negotiable depending on experience.
