We are looking for a Lead Content Strategist who can take ownership of our content direction and help shape how ideas become impactful digital experiences. You are not simply creating content calendars; you are defining content strategy, improving audience engagement, and building systems that help content perform.
You will lead content initiatives, collaborate with writers and editors, and connect business objectives with audience needs. You are the person who understands that great content requires creativity, research, structure, and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy Ownership:
Develop and manage content strategies that align with company goals, audience needs, and brand objectives. Build frameworks that improve content quality, consistency, and performance.
Editorial Leadership:
Guide writers, editors, and content contributors through planning, creation, review, and optimization processes. Maintain high editorial standards across all content.
SEO Content Development:
Create strategies that improve organic visibility through keyword research, search optimization, content planning, and performance analysis.
Content Planning & Campaign Management:
Develop editorial calendars, manage content projects, and coordinate delivery across multiple channels while maintaining deadlines and quality.
Audience Research:
Use market research, customer insights, and performance data to understand audiences and create content that connects with their needs.
Performance Analysis:
Monitor content results using analytics and reporting tools. Identify opportunities to improve engagement, reach, and conversion.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, creative, and business teams to ensure content supports wider organizational goals.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
5+ years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, editorial management, digital publishing, or a related field. Experience leading content projects or mentoring team members is preferred.
Content Expertise:
Strong understanding of content planning, storytelling, SEO principles, audience engagement, and digital content best practices.
Writing & Editing Skills:
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create, review, and improve high-quality content across different formats.
Strategic Thinking:
You can connect content decisions with business goals and understand how content influences brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
Analytics Knowledge:
Experience using content performance insights, analytics tools, and data to make informed strategic recommendations.
Mindset:
You are organized, curious, and detail-oriented. You know when content needs refinement and when it is ready to deliver impact. You balance creativity with measurable results.
Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
