Summary
We are seeking a Labourer /Loader to join our team at our Halifax facility. This role is vital in supporting our fabrication and erection processes, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Receiving goods
- Assisting in completion of orders on time, safely and to the correct quality standards.
- Moving and Handling Steelwork safely and compliantly
- Loading structural steel ready for distribution.
- Complying with the company’s health and safety procedures
- Operating Cranes
- Using Forklift Trucks to move materials
- Clearing of waste/scrap materials
- Support with cleaning duties as required
- Qualifications
- · Must have a ‘C’ or equivalent in GCSE Maths & English
· Ability to read lists and drawings and works instructions
· Mechanical engineering qualifications or time worked apprenticeship
· Previous experience of working in a manufacturing / production / engineering environment
· Team player and willingness to get the job done
Able to communicate effectively
