Full job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen here at Bourne Estate Agents, based at our Alton Branch, for a Trainee Property Manager, working closely along side an experienced Property Manager. Great opportunity for someone looking for a career in Property Management offering a comprehensive training programme. Will include some travel to Alton for training and meetings.

Duties include:

Checking and issuing inspection reports
Monitoring safety certificate expiry dates and notifying landlords
Raising works order instructions
Processing contractor invoices
Ensure that all customers receive a professional, efficient and friendly service.
Ensure all telephone messages and emails are dealt with efficiently and effectively
Keep internal databases and records up to date
Carrying out property inspections after full training

Essential Skills:

Organised and a committed team player
Experience in a Property Management or Lettings Department desirable but not essential
Excellent standard of communication
Is confident using Microsoft Office packages
High level of customer service skills
Ability to multi task, plan ahead, prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
Have a bright enthusiastic personality, a “can do” attitude with a good sense of humour
High accuracy and attention to detail
Clean driving license and own car

Our Property Management team are highly supportive of each other and your ongoing training programme will allow you to grow your skills in an encouraging environment.

Hours and Salary

This is a Monday to Friday role, 9.00am to 5.30pm. Initial package offers a minimum OTE of £28K. This includes basic £24k pa, car allowance £1.8k per annum and uncapped commission, dependant on experience (potentially more depending on experience level), with further increases available in line with role progression.
