About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing high-quality personal care and emotional support to residents.
Building positive relationships and creating meaningful experiences for those in your care.
Supporting residents with their daily activities and individual needs.
Maintaining accurate records using our electronic care planning system, Nourish and Med-e-care
Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated care team.
Demonstrating kindness, compassion, and professionalism in all aspects of your work.
Undertaking additional duties as required to ensure the smooth delivery of care services.

About You

We are looking for individuals who:

Are enthusiastic about providing outstanding care and support.
Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect for others.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Are organised and able to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Encourage and support residents to maintain their interests, hobbies, and social connections.
Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Kilburn Care Home offers residential, nursing, dementia and respite care in a specially designed modern home in the village of Kilburn, close to local bus services and the wider motorway network. The home, featuring 47 rooms, is bright with rooms for communal activities, quiet pastimes and family visits. Residents benefit from a popular patio on a sunny day and there are raised planters for the green-fingered.The home and all its carers are well equipped to support each resident but always look to enhance life in the home. The activities programme is filled with enjoyment and even special visitors like their therapy pets. Residents can enjoy arts and crafts, gentle exercise and get out and about.
