We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our expanding Team at a pivotal moment in our journey. As a newly established Employee Owned Trust (EOT) and one of the UK’s fastest‑growing private companies, we’re building something special — and we’re looking for people who want to be part of it.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with sales ledger experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing accurate financial information.

You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day sales ledger activities while supporting the wider finance team and credit control function.

Key Responsibilities

Processing sales invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently
Reconciling invoices against daily invoicing reports and resolving discrepancies
Maintaining accurate financial records within Oracle NetSuite
Supporting the credit control function with documentation and account queries
Preparing monthly reconciliations and supporting financial reporting activities
Assisting with month-end processes, budgeting and forecasting activities
Investigating and resolving ledger-related queries from clients and colleagues
Supporting external audit requirements and taking ownership of sales ledger records
Assisting the Finance Director and Management Accountants with ad-hoc finance tasks

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys working with numbers and processes.

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience within a Sales Ledger, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
Strong Excel skills
Experience using finance systems such as Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP systems
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive, proactive approach to problem solving

Desirable

Experience of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme)
AAT qualification or currently studying towards AAT
