Housekeeping Assistant – Mayfield School
Location: Mayfield, East Sussex

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will contribute directly to the school’s atmosphere, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness across our boarding houses, classrooms, and communal spaces. Previous experience is not required—what we value most is a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to be part of a collaborative, dedicated team. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and maintaining a variety of school areas, including classrooms, boarding facilities, and communal spaces.
Ensuring all floors are cleaned, carpets vacuumed, and furniture maintained.
Completing wet cleaning tasks such as scrubbing showers, toilets, and sinks.
Managing waste disposal and following school protocols for waste management.
Supporting the creation of a healthy, tidy, and safe environment conducive to learning.
Complying with all health and safety regulations and school policies.

Working Hours & Benefits:

Part-Time (30 hours per week)
Hours: 07:00 – 13:00, Monday to Friday
