Warehouse Team Leader

Renew2U (Gap Renew Ltd)

£35,000 to £38,000 per year | Full time | Permanent

About us

Renew2U is one of the North East's leading refurbished appliance

specialists. We take graded and returned washing machines, fridges,

dryers and cookers, put them right, and sell them on through eBay,

Amazon, our own website and our Gateshead showroom. We are growing

fast and we are looking for someone to help run the floor properly.

The role

This is a hands on job. You will be picking, checking and loading

alongside the team, not watching from an office. Alongside that you

will take day to day responsibility for how the warehouse runs and

for the people in it.

What you will be doing

- Leading a small warehouse team on a daily basis, allocating work

and keeping standards up

- Goods in: booking in deliveries, checking against manifests and

flagging shortages or damage

- Picking, packing and loading orders for carrier collection and

showroom customers

- Keeping stock accurate and the racking organised, including

regular stock checks

- Making sure loading, handling and housekeeping are done safely and

in line with health and safety requirements

- Supporting new starters and helping them get up to speed

- Working closely with the customer service and sales teams to keep

orders moving

What we are looking for

- Previous warehouse experience, ideally with some responsibility

for others

- Confident on your feet and comfortable with regular manual

handling of large appliances

- Organised, with an eye for detail on stock and paperwork

- Able to use basic computer systems for stock and order records

- Reliable and able to set the tone for the rest of the team

Nice to have

- Counterbalance or reach forklift licence

- Experience in appliances, electricals or returns and refurbishment

- Knowledge of ecommerce order fulfilment

What we offer

- £35,000 to £38,000 per year, depending on experience

Hours

Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, with a 30 minute unpaid break each day and 30 minute paid lunch break.

Pay: £34,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
