Full job description

We are currently looking for a Vehicle Shunter to come and join our family friendly team here at our Johnstone Depot. This role is instrumental in providing excellent service to our customers by maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our bus fleet. You will work with the local Engineering Manager and Engineering Team and carry out the following duties:

What you will do:

· Carry out a return to depot walk round check of vehicles (full training provided)

· Carry out refuelling of vehicles and note capacity used (full training provided)

· Wash the vehicle externally using power wash and brush (full training provided)

· Check engine oil / coolant levels (full training provided)

· Park vehicles up in designated bays

· Ensuring vehicles are setup for electric charging

· Ad-hoc duties as requested by the Engineering Manager & Assistant Engineering Manager

What you can bring to us:

· Excellent communication skills

· A valid UK driving license with a clean driving record

· An enthusiastic and positive can do attitude

What we will offer you:

. An excellent hourly rate of £13.45 with full PPE provided

· Working 5 days over 7

· A minimum of 40 hours a week
